Our startup, Ring, offers a subscription-based service for recyclable safety and non-slip footwear at competitive prices. Leveraging technology from the running shoe sector, we've designed comfortable, durable shoes for various industries. Initially, we're launching three models: one tailored for food and hospitality staff, another for medical professionals, and a composite toe safety shoe for warehouse and construction workers.

current safety shoes are either cheaply made with 1800s technology, or expensive and heavy. In general most safety shoes need to be replaced every six months to a year. over this time they tend to fall apart, become smelly, and loose traction. We aim to track users steps and replace shoes every six months or 3 million steps, whichever comes first.
