Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) About Mtonyo: Mtonyo is a forward-thinking startup that capitalizes on organic assets, such as trees, to foster financial inclusion and sustainability. Established in 2024, we already have an exponential reach of 30,000 farmers and over a million trees. Our innovative solutions utilise cutting-edge technology like blockchain and AI to convert these assets into carbon credits and, therefore, economic gains for farmers in emerging economies. Job Responsibilities: 1. Leading the technology department to meet the company’s strategic objectives. 2. Formulating a comprehensive and feasible technological roadmap. 3. Implementing technological solutions to support the monetization of organic assets. 4. Spearheading product development processes. 5. Directing technical strategy during product development and for product release. 6. Collaborating with the management team and other stakeholders to align our technology output with business needs. Job Requirements: 1. Previous experience in a similar role within the tech industry.
