Is our goal in the next 3 years
My key role is the Founder and CEO of Saksham, and I'm responsible for overseeing business strategies, product development, and sales operations.
Our team currently consists of myself, Pratik Gade as the Co-Founder and CTO bringing over a decade's worth of edtech and skill development expertise. And we have Ashish Thawrani serving as our dedicated Management Trainee with an ardent passion for modernizing Indian education.
Other potential competitors could be established online education platforms like Coursera or edX, which offer professional development courses geared towards employability. Corporate training programs are another competitor as they provide in-house skills development for students entering the job market.
From day one, our startup offers college students comprehensive career guidance. They can monitor their growth, build invaluable networks via inter-college communication, gain holistic personality development and a complete EQ profile. Ultimately aiming for self-awareness and job assistance.
Our revenue streams include a $500 monthly college subscription, $300 final-year student support fee, a $250 hiring platform fee, and additional fees for interview conduct and hire facilitation.
After thorough market research, we've initiated pilot programs with three Pune colleges, and have successfully onboarded 50 students who are now actively creating their profiles.
Once our funds are deployed, we plan to launch our management app, cultivate an active user community with students, colleges and employers, and stabilize a revenue stream. These advancements should ensure self-sustainment or kindle further investment.
Our metrics monitor the completion rates of student profiles, focusing on updates and filling out necessary information. We also track available job or internship opportunities to ensure we have a broad range for our students to explore.
At present, we have yet to generate revenue as we are in our pilot phase which is entirely manual and the platform or app is not operational yet. The investment towards this pilot program amounts to approximately $5000 with plans for fundraising post successful execution.
