DoWork — marketplace for services.
Our project is a multi-language service marketplace that connects local clients with independent professionals (“masters”) across Europe, starting in Czechia. Clients can easily post requests and receive offers, while masters showcase services with their own prices and terms. The platform monetizes through subscriptions and credits for proposals, giving transparent access to jobs and efficient client acquisition for professionals.

Built with Angular and Spring Boot, powered by PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and AWS cloud (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront) for scalability, speed, and reliability.

Clients post service requests, specialists respond with offers. Clients choose the best fit, while specialists access jobs via subscriptions or credits in a transparent, fair system.
Clients save time and money by finding trusted specialists fast. Specialists gain steady income, fair access to jobs, and growth without expensive advertising or middlemen.

As the founder and full-stack developer, my key responsibilities include leading product vision, overseeing tech architecture, shaping business strategy, coordinating design efforts as well as managing our marketing and support teams.
Our team includes Sofia (Marketing), Tatiana (Content & Ideas), Vitalii (Frontend Developer), Anastasia (Customer Support) and Ihor, who designs UX/UI.

Major competitors of DoWork include global platforms like Upwork and Thumbtack along with local Czech services such as Nejremeslnici and EasyTask. We differentiate ourselves through our advanced mobile-friendly platform offering transparent pricing, subscriptions, and bespoke credits for European markets.

Our mobile-first platform offers a fast, easy way for clients to connect with trusted specialists. We stand apart by providing transparency through flexible subscriptions and credits, while prioritizing underserved European markets lost amidst our globally-focused competitors.
We monetize through specialist subscriptions (basic plan includes limited proposals) and credits for extra offers. Clients use the platform for free; specialists pay for access to jobs.

Over the past six months, our platform launched in Czechia. We amassed a network of 250+ experts across 120 fields and are adding 4-6 daily. Key features we developed include specialist profiles, service catalogues and proposal requests. TikTok/Google Ads marketing trials indicate promising user growth and engagement levels.
With plans to grow our specialist network to over 5,000 and thousands of active clients, we're targeting robust MRR from subscriptions. Our expansion will span beyond Czechia into two extra European markets as we establish a solid, scalable business model ready for next-round funding.
Our metrics encompass 250+ onboarded specialists with an increase of 8-10 daily and consistent weekly client sign-ups. Emphasizing engagement through request-proposal matches growth, our marketing measures CAC, CTR, conversion rate from ads-to-registration are progressively improving as we fine-tune campaigns.
Pre-revenue, we've established a robust product and user base with 250+ specialists and growing. Our subscription and credit-based monetization launches soon, forecasting fast-scaling monthly recurring revenue as we expand in Czechia then across Europe.
