My key role is as the founder and I'm responsible for everything from operational management, business development to product innovation.
As the founder, I'm currently running the show alone. However, a strong team can include roles such as technical lead, marketing expert and finance specialist.
In addition to established cafes like Starbucks, the competition also includes traditional home-made tea and snacks. However, none of these options offer the convenience and unique flavors we bring with ChaiVana. Although it's a competitive market, our exceptional offering gives us an edge.
Our unique selling point is that each product comes with its own narrative, turning chai tasting into an immersive experience as sophisticated and cherished as wine tasting.
Clients pay an entry fee covering tea and a snack. Further add-ons are separately billed after personalized interaction with the chef.
I have meticulously refined my startup idea through insightful discussions with Wharton classmates and faculty, further strengthening its foundation.
While our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is under development, we are actively focusing on forecasting key metrics such as potential user engagement, market size and revenue streams. As soon as the MVP is ready, these forecasts will be transformed into tangible data tracking.
